Im thinking of either black or white shades for them...
Im looking for a lighter look for my room but with touches of turqouise. I would also like a glamours vintage feel, i like the feel of black and white especially with photography. I already have alot of that in the room so i would like to keep that but add some splashes of color. This is how my room curently looks...

So does anyone have any ideas to help me achieve this look. Like i said im on a budget, so i'd like
affordable ways to achieve this look.
You've got an awesome sense of style. Way chic....Love it!
ReplyDeletePaint! :) which you have already used on the lamps. A nice improvement! Not sure if you want your walls to be painted turqoise?
ReplyDeleteI *heart* your room already, you know that! :) Fabric to make some turqoise pillow cases (or you could check out Ross for some).
I love all of these photos, I want my room to look like those too!!
Love you Sweetie!

I'd say look at Ross, Kohl's, TJ Maxx Homegoods (if you guys have that there), Target, and even places like Clash and Trash and the goodwill are great places. You know that dresser I have with the huge vanity mirror was very cheap and worth the cost from the goodwill in Hollister!
ReplyDeleteGreat inspiration!! I think the best way to transform a space that isn't too expensive is paint. If you start the room by painting the walls, then you can gradually start adding in accessories and other things as you come across them.
